• Structure: Plunger + Delivery Valve + Camshaft + Governor
2. VE Rotary Pump:
• Only one plunger, rotating to distribute fuel to each cylinder.
• Representatives: B-osch VE pump; favored in light trucks, pickups, small construction machinery, and 493/4JB1 engines.
• Structure: Single plunger, roller ring, advance mechanism, solenoid shut-off valve.

Cheap maintenance, many spare parts
Inferior precision compared to VE, but more robust
2. VE Distributor Pump – Light-Duty, High-Speed, Small Cylinder Count
• Used in:
Light trucks, pickups: 4JB1, 493, Jiangling, Qingling, Foton
Mini excavators, forklifts, agricultural machinery
Mostly 4-cylinder engines
• Features:
Small size, light weight, low noise
High speed, smooth operation
High requirements for diesel fuel cleanliness
